What Is Islam?
Islam means for you to summit yourself to Allah (God), by making all your worship sincere and pure for Him alone, by obeying Him, and freeing yourself from Shirk [idolatry, polytheism, associating partners with allah (God)], and its people.

Is Islam The Religion of All The Prophets?
Yes, Islam is the religion of all the prophets, it’s the religion of Adam, our father peace be upon him,and it’s the religion of all prophets after him, the religion of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, David, Solomon, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, and the religion of other prophets, all of them peace be upon them and It’s the religion of our prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, which Allah sent it with him to all mankind.
Say (O Muhammad ): "We believe in Allah(God) and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)] and what was given to Musa (Moses), 'Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam)." Quran [Aal-Imran 3:84].
Islam Vs Exrimism
The religion of Islam is a religion of moderation between excessiveness and negligence; it is the straight path. And within the book (the Quran) and the Sunnah (the prophetic narrations), there are many religious texts that command adherence to this middle path and forbid extremism.
These texts either mention extremism explicitly, or often with wordings that indicate its impermissibility such as prohibiting aggression, oppression, extravagance, delving too deep into matters, or harshness.
The Prophet peace be upon him said: " Beware of extremism in religion because the only thing that destroyed those before you was extremism in religion". [ His statement, ‘And beware of extremism in religion’ is comprehensive including all types of extremism whether in beliefs or actions]
